Practical approach, Bible-based study
This is the second occasion I've used this study guide in a small group setting - once for an ecumenical group (from Catholics to Pentecostals) of retired military officers, then again for a "mainline" Protestant adult Sunday school group. We are in our fifth week of study and are still in chapter two of the study guide, although you can certainly move along more rapidly if you'd like. A very rewarding study on what can be an enigmatic theological topic for many. Despite what may appear to be an abstract subject, the author makes it practical and Bible-based, which both of my groups have appreciated. Like so many small group studies, you'll get out of it what you put into it. Come with an open mind, and you will be rewarded with an enriched understanding of an equally important member of the Trinity. Shouldn't we fully understand that which indwells us as believers?

Easy to read book on the Holy Spirit. I like how Mr. Stanley included study questions at the end of the chapters. It is a great way to reflect on what you just read and to make sure the information is sinking in. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking more information on the Holy Spirit.
