This is a wonderful book. Jennie Bishop has truly captured the essence of purity and it is found in a book for younger girls. I actually read this book to a group of young single women in our church and the book brought them to tears. They are going to purchase additional books and as they receive a new member the book will be presented to them. I can't say enough about it. The illustrator is most excellent as well. VERY CAPTIVATING.

What a wonderful book!! I love that there is a coloring book to go with it. The story is captivating, the illustrations beautiful and the message that love is a gift from God and purity is our choice. Our church teaches the youth that true love waits. I am glad to see a book for the younger children, but the big kids will love it too.

What a wonderful book to introduce the topic of romance with your child. It's important to start talking about love early with children, and tools like these are a wonderful way to do it. This book tells the story of a king and queen who kept the princess' kiss safe until she was old enough to choose who to give it to. She met many different suitors, but was wise enough to wait for one who had saved his kiss for her. Love this book!

Tell us a little about yourself. I am the wife of a composer/arranger/worship leader
and mother of girls 4 and 7, whom I homeschool.
This is my twelfth children's book to date.
What was your motivation behind this project? As I was praying for my girls one night, I asked
God how I could begin at their early ages to teach
them the importance of their purity, the value of
"saving themselves" for marriage. This story was
God's answer to that prayer.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope other parents will find in this story the
same answer for their children. I pray that this
book will be an effective bridge to later
discussions on sexuality, purity and marriage.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? As far as kids' books, I enjoy Beatrix Potter and
Arnold Lobel. As far as authors of adult works, Jan
Karon's testimony inspires me greatly. James
Herriot is my all-time favorite author. I also
enjoy Russian classics.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This story is God's work. I was just an available
pen.
