ChristianBookPreviews.comIf your girls like Disney princesses, then they will also enjoy The Princess Parables. These stories about five sisters whose father is the king were well received by my 3-, 5-, and 7-year-old daughters.
In Princess Faith's Mysterious Garden, Faith finds a secret abandoned garden and learns, through trial and error, how to bring it back to life. This story is fashioned after the parable of the seeds. In Princess Hope and the Hidden Treasure, Hope discovers her grandmother's ring in a shopkeeper's window - once lost and now for sale! She and her sisters sell all the toys, clothes, and jewelry they have in order to purchase it back. When they do, they learn that the ring leads them to a priceless treasure, very similar to the parable of the pearl. In Princess Charity's Courageous Heart, the youngest princess, Charity, helps a young boy who has fallen from his cart. She is the Good Samaritan and gains honor for her good deed. All of my girls liked these new tales. They are well-written and sweet and, most importantly, they uphold good and godly character. - Jennifer Joneleit, www.ChristianBookPreviews.com Product ReviewsProduct Q&AOther Customers Also PurchasedFind Related ProductsAuthor/Artist Review |
