We started the year off with a bang and my son LOVED using Saxon Math. However, mid-way through the year, he became extremely bored with the tedious and repetitive Saxon lessons. He knew the material, but just complained about having to continue to do them every day. He needed something with a bit of a faster pace. At the recommendation of Singapore, since we had almost completed Saxon 1, I purchased Singapore 1B since I knew we hadn't covered some of the material in Saxon. Most of 1B was review, but we have also gotten into multiplication and division, as well as deeper into time and money. He LOVES Singapore and even "accidentally" does extra lessons than what I've assigned him. We are quickly moving through the book this summer and will be starting 2A once he finishes 1B. I'm so happy with this curriculum and even more satisfied knowing this is an advanced curriculum.

This is the best price I found for Singapore Math curriculum. We are enjoying Singapore Math a lot with both of our children, ages 5 (1A/B) and 8 (2B/3A). The consistent pattern of concrete>pictorial>abstract is working well for us.
