I read it and liked chapter one. The remainder of the book as only marginally connected with any substantive connection with a theological understanding of the human personality. Should be in a psychology book club's listing, not a Christian book club's listing. 'Awful...absolutely awful. July 30, 2010

I have barely started this book but am already challenged and captivated by it. I found Terry Cooper's book, Making Judgments without being Judgmental, so objective and interesting, that I expect the same with Sin, Pride & Self-Acceptance. No conflict with Christianity even though different points-of-view. Excellent reads. April 13, 2008
