We have been using Preparing for Marriage for our PreMarital course since 2001, taken over 175 couples through this course. The new version is so much better. The flow of the expectations of what a Christian couple should be, roles of each, red flags etc. is so much clearer with the new version. Great Book!

This book touched the heart of me and my Fiance's relationship. The opposite friend that I had was a big issue of letting go and I didn't know that it was or even would be a problem within our relationship. So eventually I had to break ties with my 19 year friendship that I cherished but turned out to be the best thing for me and my fiance. The book opens your eyes to a lot of things. Especially for a person like me who has been divorced before (there is a SPECIAL section just for us). Great book for both!

I have given this book to newly engaged couples so that they can spend as much and more time preparing for the marriage as they do for their wedding day. It is extremely helpful for couples to begin to think through and discuss issues that they hav enot thought about. A real blessing

I love this book. It is an all-inclusive book which contains places to write answers to questions, read passages of scripture and learn from the writings of the authors. It includes information for every walk of life - people who have already been married, people who have known each other for a long time will still find this book answering questions they didn't know about each other. I thoroughly recommend having someone "pastor" or "mentor" you through this book, but even if you don't you will be stretched to think back through your childhood and discover things about yourself that will completely benefit your future marriage! Good luck and God bless! :)

I LOVE this book! It covers much more than you would ever imagine. Who really would think to sit and analize BOTH yours and your partners relationships with our parents and how we view our future roles to be. It covers all the way from who you think should wash the dishes to views on raising children and finances! It has wonderful projects you work on solo then view them with your partner and pastor. This is a MUST read for everyone....married and engaged.
