We are using this book for the first time for an pre-marriage class for those in the community. It covers many good areas yet not all areas that we felt are important for pre-marriage class. We do recommend this book still.

This book was requested to us by our pastor and has been proven to be very beneficial to us in many ways. it has allowed us to answer quaetions that we normally would not think to ask eachother, learn what the other truly feels and has guided us in preparing a marriage built on Christ. We ordered 2 books so that we could work on them seperately, then trade them to see how the other has answered. Then, we would talk about what we each wrote. It has really brought us even closer in Christ & to eachother.

I have used "Preparing for Marriage God's Way" in premarital classes and counseling since it was published. Everytime I review something new I return to this biblically sound manual. If you are looking for a tool that has passed the test of time this manual will serve you well.

I went through this book with my bride-to-be in 1992. We are still married today. It is not a perfect book but it is a great place to start and spark conversations concerning shared expectations and things you may not have thought about.

Although it encourages a Biblical marriage, many of the questionnaires are stretches in the sense of relevance and helpfulness. It's more of a weed-out for those who think marriage is all tulips and roses than for those who really should be getting married. The usefulness to time and effort ratio is unreasonably low. The idea is wonderful. The book is not.

This is a fantastic book not only for pre-marital counseling, but also marriage enrichment, and gospel reminder. I highly recommend it to those whom want couples opening their Bibles regarding marriage.

This is a great tool for preparing for marriage. It takes the load off of the counciling sessions and helps the couples gain their independence with each other.

This is an excellent preparation guide for young people considering a Godly future in Marriage. I used this book as a counseling session for my niece and her fiance. It affirmed in them the foundation of God's biblical principles for growing a successful and lifelong relationship between them surround by Him.
