Richard does an excellent job explaining the process of expository sermon preparation. Having read Haddon Robinson's "Biblical Preaching" it is obvious Richard was a former student of Robinson. I recommend this book on the fact that it is concise and provides ample support for building sermons while reading through the book. A must have for any student that preaches expository sermons or has a desire to learn how.

This book was so helpful to me. I preach as a lay preacher, and so Ramesh Richard's method that moves from understanding the bible to helping others understand it is the perfect book for someone in my position. I even took notes from the book, and they come out each time I prepare my next sermon!
