Amy5 Stars Out Of 5September 27, 2005AmyThis is a wonderful resource to help a person get through not only pregnancy, but also other trials in life. It gives excerpts from the bible showing that "my" problems have happened to others--even dating back to Biblical Times. This book not only focuses on the trials of pregnancy, but also the pleasurable events associated with pregnancy. This is a must read book for everyone--not only the pregnant.

Tell us a little about yourself. Tina M. Ellis is the wife of Anthony B. Ellis and mother of Paul, Alyssa, Brady, and Eben. Amazingly between March of 1999 and March of 2003, Tina was pregnant 118 weeks out of 208. Throughout her book, Pregnancy = 40 Weeks of Preparation - Tina shares experiences she had throughout her pregnancies and how she was able to conquer the trials and challenges with Gods help. Tina believes that God provides all the necessary tools and resources to survive any trial or challenge. The biggest challenge is acknowledging or seeing the tools and resources. Tina is a graduate of Kirkwood Community College with an Associate of Science degree. She is owner of TME Treasures and co-founder of the Billy Sanders Scholarship Fund. Tinas favorite hobby is family time. Tina was born and raised in Iowa. She was crowned Iowa Achievement in 1998 and currently resides with her family in Pryor, Oklahoma.
What was your motivation behind this project? During my pregnancies, I received a lot of inspiration and motivation from reading. I wanted to share that motivation.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My goal with my book is to share some of the trials and challenges that I experienced throughout pregnancy. These trials and challenges are correlated with biblical verses to show that we as mothers-to-be are never alone.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? The greatest influences in my life are my parents and grandparents. I receive inspiration from my children and from reading.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I believe that God made pregnancy 40 weeks for a reason. It is the ideal time to prepare. Throughout the bible it is shown that the number 40 is ideal time to conquer trials and challenges so we can become more like God. Pregnancy = 40 Weeks of Preparation so we as mothers-to-be can prepare for one of the most important jobs we will ever have - Motherhood.
