This is an excellent little book but I am puzzled by the author's few words under "For women Only". It seems that Mr. Roberts is putting all the responsibility for the husband's behavior on the wife. To say that the husband "cannot" become the responsible husband he should be before God unless his wife prays for him, is to say that the wife is in complete control of the husband. Does that mean it is completely her fault if he does not become responsible? I find no such teaching in Scripture. Ephesians 5:25 is a clear command given to husbands. You cannot add "If the wife prays for you" to that verse or any other verse for that matter.
There is something very comforting about praying the scriptures for a specific person. When you read the scripture with the name of someone dear to you inserted in the text it is very powerful. I also like that the scriptures are in catagories so I can find specifically what I want to pray for. This book is a great tool when I find it hard to know just what of how to pray for my husband.
I loved this book, I had been encouraged to pray the Scriptures for my husband by others but spent lots of time looking for Scriptures to pray. This book allows me to quickly find exactly what my husband needs for me to pray for him. I bought 4 and gave three away to other women who love to pray for their husbands. What a nugget to share with other women. Another woman shared it with me. How great God is that He puts us in the presence of each other so we can help each other.
