Highly Recommend this book!
"Prayers for a Woman's Soul" is a refreshing drink for the parched. We as women don't often take the time to pray for ourselves. Even if we have a desire to do so, we don't seem to know where to start. Julie gives us practical and insightful devotions to prompt us to meaningful prayer. In fact, she covered topics I would have never thought of on my own. The daily readings are short and conscise, just what we busy women need. I love the way Julie's words both encourage and challenge me to go deeper with Christ. I highly recommend this book to every women who is seeking after a more intimate relationship with Him.

Telling Everyone I Can - THIS BOOK IS WONDERFUL!
I wasn't exactly prepared for this book. I wanted it to be deep, meaningful, personal, and encouraging. It is. But it is so much more.
Julie K. Gillies writes from the heart. She shares personal experiences from her own life that nearly all women can relate to as well as sharing how the Lord patiently taught her and carried her through each situation she faced. As I read this wonderful little book I discovered areas in my life that I had long neglected, parts of my soul that needed refreshing, healing, and prayer. That is exactly what this book is about.
The short stories that open each chapter are relatable and interesting, coming straight from the author's own life. Her word's are fresh, laced with light-hearted humor and are written in a way that made me feel as though she was talking to me face to face and pouring into me the truths God has imparted to her over the years. The end of each chapter provides the reader with points to reflect on, a prayer and powerful scripture verses to strengthen the spirit.
I would love to give a copy to all the dear women in my life, I know they'd be as delighted with it as I am.
