Stormie’s heart beats with passion for communing with the Lord, and she encourages readers to “develop an attitude—an attitude of praise, worship, and thanksgiving to God—and to live each day making praise your first reaction and not a last resort.”

My New Year resolution is to spend more time praising God and experiencing Him in a more intimate way. I've just started reading this book and my heart is already overflowing with His awesome presence. I couldn't stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks as I read the first two chapters. This book is opening my eyes to see how important it is for me to praise and worship my Lord. If He lives in our praises then He is ever close when we worship Him!

Wonderful book. Gives life to prayer, and teaches gratitude in a hurting world. I would recommend this book to others.

If you are questioning God's love for you, READ THIS! Praising God does open your eyes to Who God is and His provision for your life! God asks us to praise Him, I believe, not so much for Him, but because of what it does for US! To quote from Facing the Giants, "if we win, we'll praise Him, if we lose, we'll praise Him" - it changes...everything!

This is an excellent resource as praising and worshiping God is something we should desire to do daily as it is very powerful. I have read through the first section of the book and now I pray a couple of the prayers every day and it is a very meaningful part of my devotions. The last section is more problem specific and I have read through and prayed the prayers in a couple of those chapters. It has been very helpful.
