Great for the price. It was a smaller book than I thought it would be, but the content was very helpful

A precious book! I'm a biblophile and often read books 900 - 1,000 pages each. Rarely have any blessed my heart more than this wondrously fine little book. If the best things come in small pkg.s I'd include this book, surpassed only by Thomas a Kempis' "The Imitation of Christ."

There are many times I struggle with prayer and I read John Wesley's explanation of the Lord's Prayer and I am at ease. I would recommend this small book to any one that struggles with prayer. I have given many of these little books away as gifts and they are always well received.

Quite informative. A lot of revelation, and some good reminders on how to pray, even though one may think he or she already knows how to pray. A little archaic at times, but that's expected. Still it was well read. An easy read for the occasional reader like myself.

If nothing else the writings will sink in sooner or later. Do not look for an instant awakening but rely on God to speak to you.

This collection of writings by John Wesley are well-focused on the most basic, most vital aspect of Christianity - Prayer. Occasionally, seperate segments may be a bit difficult to read due to the time in which they were written but as a whole this book is excellent in instruction and devotion.
