Tell us a little about yourself. I have been a Christian as well as a person of prayer for many years. I like to encourage others through prayer and the Word of God. Pray-ers Bear Fruit is my first, but not last book that I've written. I'm a wife and mother of two.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wrote Pray-ers Bear Fruit to encourage Christians around the world to become people of prayer. In my travels I've met many Christians who love God with all their heart and serve in their local church, but yet failed to experience victory in their personal lives. Pray-ers Bear Fruit was written to show Christians how easy it is to become intimately acquainted with the Lord and live a life of prayer that brings forth fruit.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope and prayer is that Christians around the world would become people of prayer. I hope they will be encouraged to get to know the Lord in a personal and intimate way through prayer. I hope to indivuals, married couples, and families alike will be strengthened and encouraged by my book.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I faced many challenges and hinderances while writing this book, so it caused me to press into a deeper level of prayer in my own personal life. The more determined I became to finish the project, the more my knowlege of God, and my relationship with Him grew and was strengthened. I refused to give up on the message the Lord gave me for His people regardless of the length of time it took to complete, and the opposition I faced along the way. I know that the message within this book will be a blessing to all who read it.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I am deeply inspired by my pastor, Bishop T.D.Jakes and First Lady Serita Jakes. Some of my favorite writers on the subject of prayer are Kenneth E. Hagin, Benny Hinn, Andrew Murray, and E.M. Bounds.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I say to the readers, although this book is a quick read, please don't rush through it. Take your time and allow the message to penetrate your heart. Don't read the book and just tuck it away on your bookshelf, put what you have read into practice. See what the Lord will do in your life. Watch Him bring change into your life and circumstances.
