For three centuries the writings of Brother Lawrence have taught Christians that God is as present in the kitchen as in the cathedral and as accessible in the living room as He is around the Lord's table. This simple, yet profound teaching will empower you to seek the joy of God's presence in the midst of every moment and circumstance.

I wish I would have spent the extra money and purchased the newer edition. Comparatively speaking, the writing is easier for the group to follow.

This is a life changing book. It makes a great devotional. It is simple to read but challenging to apply to our everyday living - moment by moment by moment.

I order this book in quantity periodically, and give it away. It is a wonderful book about experiencing the presence of God in daily life, continually. I have seen many people blossom as they read it. I know of no bok tht is more significant than this that teaches what it means to know God personally.

Other than the Bible, this book helped me more in my walk with God than any other I have read. I keep a copy with me at all times and have given away many, many copies. The only negative comment I have ever received about it came from a man who told me it was "too simplistic". That is exactly what I like about it!

Excellent price. Awesome book. James Goll has a book of the same name that tells of brother Lawrence but goes even deeper.

Excellent book. Each letter is so short and I read them as devotionals with my Bible study.

I ordered six copes to go through wit others. I was disappointed when I received a 1958/1967 copyright. I have had a 1982 copyright by Whitaker House which reads musch easier. I didn't know the difference until we were discussing the First Conversatin and the others had a difficult time understanding the older way it was written. I suggest the 1982 copyright by Whitaker House. david clayton
