It unfolds the conditions by which God still comes, as in apostolic days, with mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God. Arthur Wallis was an internationally known author and leader in what became known as the house church movement in Great Britain. Born in Dublin in 1922, he was the younger son of Reginald Wallis, a well-known convention speaker and author of several Christian books. His fatherâ·s death in 1940 precipitated a spiritual crisis for Arthur, and he sensed a call to full-time ministry. After military service in World War II, Wallis fulfilled his call to ministry, later serving on a leadership team overseeing a family of more than thirty churches. He also devoted himself to a worldwide speaking and writing ministry. He went on to author ten books, including the classic bestseller God's Chosen Fast.
