Starting praying from this book as soon as I received it; had thought about it a long time and finally bought it. I also had purchased the Prayer That Changes Everything also by Stormie O. And it really reached me where I needed to be reached; at the heart of the matter. Am believing that as I pray these prayers that God will meet me again and heal the hurts and bring our family back together.

I've only started this book and study guide and I am AMAZED at how well written it is. It has made me stop and truly think about parenting and praying in a whole new way! I recommend this book for EVERY parent who believes that with GOOD in this world, there is also EVIL, and we need to protect our children in EVERY way possible...most importantly through prayer! Thank you Stormie!

This book will change your life as a parent and transform the life of your child. It was the greatest help for me when my boys started their teenage years almost seven years ago. It continues to benefit my daughter, who is eleven. It has made our family closer to God and to each other. I have notebooks filled with lists for each of my three children and it is so wonderful to look back to when we I first started praying the way that Stormie teaches in the book to today, and how many prayers have been answered and how much peace I have. I decided to write this review because just today, I received an answer to a prayer that I began praying for in December 2006. God bless all who read this book and incorporate Stormie's "prayer lifestyle" into their lives. I must also say that the study guide and the prayer cards make wonderful pray tools to add to your collection.

I am studying this book with 14 other ladies. The author provides many ways to pray for your children. At times I think she is over-the-top and that it seems almost unbelievable all that she does, but I can still utilize many of her suggestions in the book into my daily life.
