PAIGE WINSHIP DOOLY is the author of over a dozen books and novellas. She enjoys living in the coastal Deep South with her family, after having grown up in the sometimes extremely cold Midwest. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and loves their life of adventure in a full house with six homeschooled children and two dogs.
Award-winning author and speaker Darlene Franklin recently returned to cowboy country—Oklahoma. The move was prompted by her desire to be close to her son’s family; her daughter Jolene has preceded her into glory. Darlene loves music, needlework, reading and reality TV. Talia, a Lynx point Siamese cat, proudly claims Darlene as her person. Darlene has published several titles with Barbour Publishing.
Kathleen E. Kovach and her husband Jim raised two sons while living the nomadic lifestyle for over twenty years in the Air Force. She's a grandmother, though much too young for that. Now firmly planted in Colorado, she's a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, and leads a local writers group. Kathleen hopes her readers will giggle through her books while learning the spiritual truths God has placed there.

Rose McCauleyKYAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great Christmas ReadDecember 18, 2013Rose McCauleyKYAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love Christmas books and read them the whole month of December. This is one of the best I have read this year. As one of Barbour's Romancing America line, it follows the typical format of 4 novellas in one book with many connections in each book such as the post office in Christmas, Florida and many of the characters. The characters have varied occupations (event planner, building contractor, teacher, retired major, store clerk, photographer, retired police officer and postmaster) and ages ranging from 20s to 60s, so there is something for all interests here.
All of the stories are excellent. Several scenes made me cry, especially in the final story where the hero keeps trying to woo his love interest after repeated rejections because it reminded me of how Christ woes each of us to Himself. If you love Christmas and Christmas stories, this is a must read! Available in paperback and kindle.
Teresa5 Stars Out Of 5PerfectJanuary 20, 2013TeresaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I loved the 4 short stories, each different but connected via the town. Very appropriate for teen on up. Also would recommend for unbelievers as the gospel message is gentle and sweetly shown in each story.
GingerS2194 Stars Out Of 5Good Sunday afternoon getawayOctober 14, 2012GingerS219Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I just love Christmas novels, but this set is not just about Christmas, the holiday, it's about the town of Christmas, Florida.
I loved each of the novellas. They are what I consider "sweet" stories that make you feel uplifted all the way through. I enjoyed the love connections made by each set of characters.
Enjoy a bubble-bath, a drink (of your choosing), and grab this book. You'll forget whatever it is that's outside your door--at least until the water gets cold. :-)
