Product Information
Publisher's DescriptionAre you grieving, seeking restoration of strained relationships, feeling insecure or anxious, suffering physically or emotionally, or wondering about your purpose in life? Do you need a rescue or fresh start? Do you have doubts about God's goodness toward you? Are you seeking transformation, answers for your problems, longing for freedom, or desiring to see God more clearly? Are you drawn to stories of Jesus in order to more deeply experience His love? Portrait of a Woman and Jesus guides the reader through a journey of her heart with the intent of answering the honest questions she has about her identity, brokenness, and relationship to God. By witnessing Jesus's responses to the women He encountered and reflecting on His words of truth, the reader is encouraged to trust in His desire and power to bring wholeness into all areas of her life.
Author BioBarbara Quillen Egbert credits her life experiences-in the roles of wife, mother, published author, educator, camp director, and ministry leader-as the foundation of her interest in and understanding of women's identity issues as they relate to God's original intent for their lives. Due to the insights gained through her spiritual journey, the author can confidently state that a woman's identity issues are primarily addressed through an intimate relationship with Jesus. Her greatest joy is when others experience the love, restoration, and peace found only in Him. Wilson Jay Ong grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received a BFA from Brigham Young University and afterward attended the Art Students' League. In addition to being a professional artist and illustrator since 1983, Wilson has taught art, presented workshops, and exhibited his work nationally.
