In this revised edition, bestselling author Nancy Rue provides a guide on how to deal with girl politics, God-style.
Yesterday you were BFFs, planning to attend the same college and be in each others weddings. Today you sat down at the lunch table and she got up and left without a word, taking other friends with her, and giggling as they walked away. Your teacher says ignore her, your mom says talk to her, and your dad says, Its just what kids do. Youre angry, hurt, and wondering, what happened? When is it just a girl thing, and when is it more? Girl Politics has all the info on friends, bullies, frenemies, and more, with real-life examples, conversation starters, Internet tactics, and tips to protect yourselfGod styleRevised and updated with more examples from real girls, tackling more issues relevant in todays media-driven world.
Nancy Rue has written over 100 books for girls, is the editor of the Faithgirlz Bible, and is a popular speaker and radio guest with her expertise in tween and teen issues. She and husband, Jim, have raised a daughter of their own and now live in Tennessee.
Review4 Stars Out Of 5My reviewAugust 27, 2014ReviewQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4Good book a little much for 4th grade girls but my 5th grade girls love it. I teach a combo class of 4th/5th grade girls. Thanks so much! Very insightful!
Melanie Vance4 Stars Out Of 5Has some good pointsAugust 7, 2013Melanie VanceQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3Book has some good points but my daughter and I were not real fond of how the author insisted on making a little gal pal club and comparing feelings with each other at sleepovers and such. Seems like it should have been a private diary and sharing feelings with God instead.
