Product Description

At once an in-depth analysis of Christianity's influence in American justice and social systems (going all the way back to the First Virginia Charter in 1606) and a wonderful resource for anyone interested in the defense of the words "...one nation under God..." as part of the Pledge of Allegiance, The Pledge does both concisely and eloquently. The attack on the affirming addition to the original pledge is laid bare, and the enemies are clearly identified. Many Americans want to either deny the heritage and roots of the social and moral bedrock of this country or deny the teaching of these clear and important foundations to our youth. William Murray's book is a call to return to the truths of America's Christian heritage.
Quoting extensively from source material, Murray, son of notorious atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair, exposes the fallacy of 'separation of church and state', documents the long history of ACLU hostility towards Christianity, and cuts to the root of this modern threat facing the church. Comprehensive, educational and convicting, this is knowledge that every Christian should have.

Publisher's Description

              LEARN THE TRUE HISTORY

OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IN AMERICA

             AND WHAT YOU CAN DO

TO PROTECT THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE!

Atheist Michael Newdow is determined to remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. His allies in this battle are members of the 9th Federal Court of Appeals in San Francisco, the American Civil Liberties Union, and anti-Christian forces.

America  was founded on Christians principles, and our system of government is based upon the belief that we are a nation "under God." Our rights come from God, not from government.

Learn what the Founding Fathers  believe about God and government-and why the idea of "separation of church and state" is nothing more than a myth created by one Supreme Court decision in 1947. Yet, that one decision has result in dozens of ill-informed rulings that have undetermined religious freedom and exalted secularism as the state-protected religion in America.

The attack on the Pledge is simply one part of this ongoing war against religious freedom in America-a war waged by Newdow, the ACLU, and others.

This book shows you how you can fight back against Newdow and the anti-Christians forces in the ACLU. WE must take back our nation from the secularists who seek to deny religious liberty!

Editorial Reviews

"William Murray" shows us convincingly how the attack against the phrase "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance is a clarion call to those of us who love America and appreciate the importance of our religious heritage. In this Second Farewell Address, President George Washington warned that anyone who labors to undermine religion and morality cannot be called a true patriot. Religion and morality are the twin pillars upon which America was founded. Today there are forces actively engaged in removing both pillars. America is great because it is based on a solid foundation. That foundation is a belief in God, and therefore expressions of that belief pervade our documents, our institutions, and our customs. But America is not impregnable. As it was in the beginning, today's true patriots must fight for freedom. The battle for the soul of America is winnable, but we must show up and become engaged to win"
