Like other books that focus on the Amish way of life, Wiseman builds solid characters and places them in interesting plot situations. I would suggest this book to friends and family, as well as Wiseman's other books in the "Plain" series.

This is such a beautiful story about following God's call and love and sacrifice. Beth Wiseman has done a remarkable job of narrating Dr. Noah's emotions. He is not just a skilled doctor but certainly knows to pull the right strings when it comes to a woman's heart. Great job. This book is mine for keeps.
