Ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time...several times? These memories leave you with an ill taste in your mouth, and nothing good seems to come from them. But what if the seemingly messy pieces of your life were actually strategically positioned by God? What if you've actually been in the right place at the right time every time? In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day will help you make sense of your past. You'll begin to connect the dots to see clearly how God has been preparing you for future opportunities. With a God's-eye perspective, you'll soon be thanking Him - even for lions, pits, and snowy days.
Your greatest regret at the end of your life will be the lions you didn't chase. You will look back longingly on risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. Stop running away from what scares you most and start chasing the God-ordained opportunities that cross your path. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day is inspired by one of the most obscure yet courageous acts recorded in Scripture, a blessed and audacious act that left no regrets: "Benaiah chased a lion down into a pit. Then, despite the snow and slippery ground, he caught the lion and killed it" (2 Samuel 23:20 -21). Unleash the lion chaser within!

This book is so good that I can't stop telling people about it. I read it in 3 days and then as soon as I read the very last page, I turned it over and started reading it AGAIN (but this time with a highlighter). I highly recommend this book! I would definately rank this book in my top 3 favorite books of all time!

This is a fabulously, encouraging, quick read. I had never heard of the lion and the pit story, but drew so much hope for my life's next chapter. I highly recommend this for anyone facing unknowns, uncertainty or opportunities with questions.
