The diary of Piper Davis, is the only book I have found to make me emotional. Piper Davis, has to await the news of her army brother, that is stationed in Pearl Harbor, as it is attacked. Piper and her father neither knows if he is alright or not, but they both pray for him. Piper's father is a pastor for Japanese Church, and decides to take his daughter and follow his church members to the incaraction camp. She soon learns about the harsh and heartbreaking reality of war.

I have cried as I followed Piper on her journey through life, and I felt as if I was her through out the book. I know that everyone who reads this book will enjoy the story and feel as if they are along for the ride. I recommend this book to everyone, it is the best.
