Publisher's Description
With an entertaining blend of social-scientist-meets-sage, Peter Haas provides a penetrating look at our faith that just might reveal our own "hidden Pharisees." Through a series of autopsies, Haas bypasses the cheap "church-make-over solutions" and cuts straight to our deepest need: a Pharisectomy.
Author Bio
Although only in his mid-30's, Pastor Peter Haas has already become a well-known pastor, author, and conference speaker. After experiencing a radical conversion to Christianity while working in a nightclub as a rave-DJ, he has traveled the world sharing God's miraculous passion.
In 2004, Peter relocated to Minneapolis and planted an arts-oriented multi-site church called Substance. In just a few short years, Substance has become one of the fastest growing and most youthful mega-churches in the United States. Known for his progressive worship, cell methods, and appeal to unchurched 20-somethings, Pastor Peter speaks at conferences all over the world on progressive church methodology.
He also consults with church planters all over the globe as he serves on the A-Team of the Association of Related Churches. He currently resides in Minneapolis with his wife and three kids.
