Amazing study. My men's prison group was transformed. We now have an "atmosphere of prayer"

After watching the video, I can say that this is one of the most awesome teaching curriculum on prayer. Pastor Cymbala teaches with such simplicity. I would recommend it to anyone interested in building relationship with God through intimacy and the power available through His Holy Spirit.

These books are the necessary companion to the video of the same title. They are effective for a rather impressive small group study on prayer.

I bought this bible study material for myself and my kids;ages 12,14,16,39.so far it has been hard to stay on track with it. I don't think it is holding the childrens interest very well.As a parent I would have hope for better content to lead a study group of teens,but probably my fault for not researching it more!

The study book is a necessary companion to the DVD by the same name. Both the DVD and the study guide are excellent. I can't say enough good about them. The DVD teaching and especially the personal stories are VERY inspirational, I plan to share the material liberally to other Bible study groups. The questions in the study books do a great job of both focussing and expanding our understanding of prayer, of God's promises, and of God himself. Each session requires at least 90 minutes to do justice to the material.

This is an excellent study on prayer and how God moves when his people get serious with him. Jim is an excellent author who presents things in an easy way to grasp. Excellent testimonies of Gods power.

This Particpant's Book is very useful as a work and research reference that allows our small group to better utilize the associated DVD. The additional research and 'home work' activities provide an opportunity to be better prepared for each weeks session. Thus allowing each person to grow as an individual and the group to grow in the area of Prayer and become better Prayer Warriors in Christ.

An excellent study for Christians who have become "lukewarm" and need to improve their prayer life. The stories in the video are consistently inspiring. It's nearly impossible to finish the study in 1-1/2 hours if you really want to take the time to pray. Our group did the Bible Discovery section (in the middle of each lession) on their own before meeting together. This saved some time, but even so, we still had to rush through in order to have enough time to pray at the end.
