Tada's faith, determination and unshakeable spirit. Her diving accident was indeed so sad when it happened, but now, seeing how God has used Joni for "His kingdom purpose", it is clear He had a plan for Joni, all along her life.
"Pearls of Great Price" is an excellent daily devotional book. Joni includes an appropriate scripture at the beginning of every devotion, as well as a touching prayer at the end. Each wonderfully written devotion speaks to my heart. She has also included an indepth index which references every scripture passage she uses and the day she used it. I have often used this book to enhance my adult S.S. lessons that I teach. Also, I have given it for a gift. I can't say enough about this book.

Q: Would this book be appropriate for a quaraplegic who is a unbeliever? Which would be better for a quadraplegic unbeliever? Pearls of Great Price.... or A Place of Healing ?
"Pearls of Great Price" is an excellent devotional, but it would take your friend a full year to receive all the blessings stored up in it. In "A Place of Healing" Joni "takes you on a very personal, intimate journey back to foundational questions about healing, suffering and hope." Your friend could receive the full benefits of this book in a matter of days or weeks. We recommend reading the sample pages provided on our website to see which book would best fit your friend's needs.
