While it is true that there are many theological books available on PaulineTheology, if you want to have one upon whichyou can read and re-read and chew on it foryears, then this one by Ridderbos onPaul fits the bill perfectly. Ridderbos writes in the tradition of Kittel's TDNT...each paragraph seems toburst full with new theological insight. And just when you think you already know theteaching of Paul in the New Testament, Ridderbos will show you that you have not yetarrived. This book is a MUST have forany teacher or scholar of the New Testament.Ridderbos' chapters on Sin, Righteousness, andReconcilliation are masterful. Yes, this bookis not an easy read...but is definitely anecessary read! Buy this book...it willlast you for years and years.
