This Book is practical and easy-to use. My daughter is not only able to read more efficient,but she is also excellent at spelling. I use this book for different levels: K4, and 1st grade. My son enjoys playing the suggested games in the book, we have a ton of fun connecting the sounds together to make words.

For us, this is the ultimate review and expansion program. We used mostly CLP Adventures in Phonics to teach reading. We got Phonics pathways from the library and used it to review what my son learned and expand on that. It is an excellent book.
You could definitely use this as your standalone phonics, reading, and even spelling program.
However I had a hard time making that happen. That is why we used a workbook format instead.
