In 1972, she founded the Great Commission Prayer Crusade, a movement uniting Christians to pray for national and international concerns. Vonette is also the cofounder and executive director of Women Today International, and she is heard on radio stations across America as the host of the daily program "Women Today with Vonette Bright."
