These three additions to the Zion Covenant series are director's cuts. They include portions of the Thoene classic The Twilight of Courage and thrilling, never-before-published scenes with the characters you've come to know and love. Readers will finally know the fates of Jacob and Lori Kalner from Warsaw Requiem and meet for the first time David Meyer from The Zion Chronicles, plus Madame Rose Smith and Jerome Jardin from The Zion Legacy and, most importantly, Rachel and Yacov Lubetkin, the heroes of The Zion Chronicles series. Study questions included.

It gives a very good view of how things were in Europe during WWII. The vivid imagery make the book come alive. Love all of Thoene's series! They are great authors!
Robin4 Stars Out Of 5June 21, 2006RobinI love this series by the Thoenes, and was thrilled to discover that there were 3 new additions to it since I last read the series. It is awesome to read historically, it gives such a wonderful perspective of WW2 from Europe. I would give this a 5 rating, except that the website fails to mention that these books are "directors cut" versions - like condensed books, not the full length version. I was very disappointed to discover I spent $50 (I ordered books 1 and 2 also, since I had lent them to someone who didn't return them) and go only condensed versions instead of the originals.
