    Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm married (35 years) and am the parent of 2 (great!) grown sons. I've written four parenting books and maintain a parenting website (www.confidentparenting.com). I enjoy reading,writing and choral singing as my hobbies. I'm also an avid sports fan!

    What was your motivation behind this project?  To encourage younger parents who face such challenges striving to be successful parents in these challenging times! God's word has the help and encouragement they meed and I want to help them find it. That's why I prepared this study guide.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I believe that folks will find some very helpful and encouraging insights and support for successful Christian parenting from study of the Bible passages I've chosen. That's my goal: insight, encouragement and some practical help, too!

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I've been a parent myself for over 30 years, having raised two sons. I've spent half that time traveling to speak to parents--and also to listen to them. I've learned a lot; from my own experiencec as a parent, from God's Word and from other parents. I want to share that with younger parents today.
