JAMES MONTGOMERY BOICE (1938-2000) (A.B., Harvard University; B.D., Princeton Theological Seminary; D.Th., University of Basel, Switzerland; D.D., Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church) was speaker on the worldwide radio ministry of the Bible Study Hour and pastor of historic Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. His titles include Jesus on Trial and The Doctrines of Grace. He was married to Linda Ann Boice, who continues to teach at the high school they co-founded.

Parables of Jesus This book individually addresses the parables Jesus shared with mankind. It's great for anyone hungry for a clear understanding of what it means to use your eyes to see and your ears to hear while staying in the Word. I just love the variety of Christian books I can order from CBD. All have been great and enlightening. October 29, 2012

This is one of those rare books that you don't want to lay down. Boice makes your Bible come to life with his study of the Parables. You got to have this in you library. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. March 18, 2010

As many of Jesus parables are hard to understand,because of culture and history.We must still take the time to understand the meaning behind them.This book is the best resource to do so.Very understandable but yet much depth.A must have. March 11, 2009
