Kids Loved It
My kids loved this book! We used it in first grade. This has just the right amount of material for K-1st graders. We did a couple of pages a day. You can also do one chapter a week, but some weeks would have more in them than others. This book will not cover the entire year, so you will need other materials for the rest of the year.

Not Much There
I was disappointed when I received this in the mail. So few chapters, it wouldn't give you a school-years worth of curriculum. I also felt like the subjects it did touch on that I've already pretty much taught my kids in everyday conversations. These lesson plans weren't something I couldn't have come up with on my own.
Thanks CBD for being so great about returns! :)

Our Father's World
I am going through this with my almost 6 year old and he is learning a lot! It gives just the right amount of information and lots of beautiful photographs! The words are good sized so he likes to read a lot of it. We go through the quizzes together and it helps sink in the information. I only wish it was a bigger book, since we are going through so quickly and it's almost finished (in less than 1 semester). I guess I will just have to get the next one in the series when we're done. Great book... I would buy it again! I have decided that I really like Christian Liberty Press... I bought a lot of their products here at CBD and am very pleased.

We are using "Our Father's World" for a 3 yo. The pictures are bright and keep our toddler interested, while I read the text.Since he is 3, we don't really do the "questions" at the end of every section, or the "experiments". But I will try to get a bit of narration out of my son, ultilizing what is offered.Even for a small child the pictures and Bible quotes are engaging. This is a wonderful overview of the Lord's creation!
