So much going on in this installment! Still trying to figure out what happened in Misrata five years before, the women of the Zulu team are still in danger. Twists and turns around every corner have them confused about who to trust. Then there is Sam Caliguari. Determined to find out what happened to Ashland(Annie), Sam has plastered her picture all over the networks putting her in serious danger. Trace is ready to kill Sam for that stunt so he brings Sam in. Annie is not happy with either man because she can't figure out what her feelings are for either one of them. The Turk makes contact again with T'eya and I seriously can't figure out if he is friend or foe. Nuala "Noodle" is the quiet one of the group with the most insight. Something is bothering her about the couple they have brought in claiming to have information about Misrata, but it seems nobody is listening to her.
Hazardous Duty had me on the edge of my seat and I am definitely going to be starting the last book in this serial tonight so I can see what happens. I am absolutely loving the suspense of this serial even though it causes me stress! I can't wait to find out how it all wraps up. I'm feeling a bit sorry for Sam and Trace who both have a "thing" for Annie and it seems that she has a "thing" for them as well. If you like military type stories along with some romance and a lot of suspense, oh and strong kick-butt women, then this is the serial for you!
I think spine-tingling suspense and danger says it all! No longer hiding in the safe house, the team is now spread out following leads or trying to keep themselves alive. Unpredictable is the only way I know how to explain what happens next. Ronie loves to follow her own path in writing and not conform to predictable plots. Im on the edge of my seat reading each page thinking I know what is going to happen, but each character is so unique and special that it takes me on an awesome literary adventure ride. Great twists in this one, once again. The Turk, who is after Teya, is not who he seems. Annie is now in the middle of Sam and Trace, with her emotions running wild talk about love triangle! We finally see what feelings Nuala is hiding. Will Keeley even make it out of the hospital? Meanwhile, all three Zulu members are still helping to unravel the mess that is Misrata.
There seems no end to the danger and impossible situations they find themselves in. Im dying for the last episode! In a way, I dont want it to end, but there are way too many questions and possibilities floating in my mind to let it sit what a fun way to read a book, episode by episode. You wont be sorry by getting into this series I HIGHLY recommend it!!
The storyline continues to crescendo towards what is sure to be an explosive ending!

The fate of multiple agents were left hanging in the balance at the end of Part 2. If your heart survived that ending then you may be ready for Part 3 - Hazardous Duty. Now discover how each member managed to evade death and lived to fight another day.
Still in the slums, Nuala and Teya render aid to an unlikely fellow but will it be enough to settle the vendetta he has against Teya. Rest assured that this is not the last time these two will cross paths. In fact, he dredges up a ghost from Teyas past in the final scenes.
Sam jumps at the chance to rescue Annie, but her reaction is not quite what he had in mind. Annie is a woman who has a few things to straighten out in the love department. She cannot deny that she has residual feelings for Trace but he nearly cut her heart out when he abandoned her in Manson 5 years ago. And Sam...yeah those feelings were real too.
Traces worst fear is realized when he and General Haym Solomon are called to sit before the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Anxious to exonerate her father while simultaneously bringing down Trace Weson, Frankie threatens to reveal the identities of the remaining member of Zulu. Trace cannot let that happen - no matter what!
** I particularly like how the characters Boone, Annie, and Sam all wrestle with matters of faith in this episode.
The storyline continues to crescendo towards what is sure to be an explosive ending. MUST KEEP READING!!
I received a free copy of this title in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Okay, I have to confess that I read the first episode of this series and was cocky enough to think I knew the characters pretty well and had a decent idea of where everything would end up. I have given that up completely now. Ronie has blown all of my preconceived notions out of the water, never to return to Earth. There are so many twists and turns that it is seriously pretty much impossible to guess where the story will go next. I was on the edge of my seat through most of the story - I loved it and didnt want to put it down! It is quite rare for a series - even though each episode is shorter than a full length novel - to hold my attention this long and still be able to keep me guessing!
Im still loving getting to know each of the characters better and I was thrilled that Sam was in this one more (if youve read my other reviews, then you know that was a complaint of mine). I particularly liked getting to know Nuala better - shes been the quiet one in the background for most of it, but here we get to see the team through her eyes and know what shes thinking a little more often. She gives interesting insight into the story and the other players. Ive heard a little talk of which Zulu member is everyones favorite and things like that, but honestly, I could never pick one. They are all so different and unique that you just cant compare them (well, you can, but you get my point). They are all wonderfully diverse people that Im sure will be sticking with me for a long time to come. I do have to admit to being a little more curious about Trace, though. I may have given up trying to predict what will happen next, but that doesnt mean Im not extremely interested in where hell end up (and with whom).
I really enjoyed the fact that they are talking/thinking about God a little more in this part. Ronie gently integrated a few conversations about Him, without it seeming stilted or faked. Their conversations in general are a little deeper here as they grow closer as a team.
As I reached the end of this episode, I had mixed feelings. I am dying to get to the end and find out how everything is going to play out, but finishing this part also means I only have one left. Ive grown so attached to the characters and dont want to face having to let them go. Ill probably be crying at the end of the final one, simply because I know it will be the end for Team Zulu.
I received a free download of this book from the publisher for my honest review, which I have given. I was not required to write a positive review and have not been compensated for it in any way. All opinions expressed are my own.
Outstanding installment to this amazing serialization!

With a stunning cliffhanger, Operation Zulu Redemption: Hazardous Duty - Part 3 met and exceeded every expectation possible!
I felt like I was riding at an accelerated speed the whole time I was reading this installment. Not one moment did the momentum lag, but swept me along with an energy so palpable I could almost feel electricity in the air. From crackerjack sniper shots to stealth maneuvering, the depth of dedication and unrelenting determination is unmistakable in Team ZULU. Adding a little more romance into the mix only makes the heart beat more rapidly and the adrenaline flow a little faster. The characters are fascinating, and I am totally stumped in this puzzle of who is behind the hunting down and killing of the teams members. Im wholeheartedly looking forward to the conclusion!
I was provided a copy from the publisher for review purposes. I am under no obligation to write a positive review, just my honest opinion of the book. No compensation has been received.
