Are you ready for eternity? If so, are you helping others get ready for that journey into eternity that each of us must take? As believers, we all know we
should tell others about the Lord, but we often don't know how. This practical book will give you ideas for starting conversations, examples of witnessing situations, and answers to common questions, to help encourage, challenge, and equip you to reach both friends and strangers for Jesus the rest of your life!
Mark Cahill not only provides the how-to but ignites a fire in individuals for evangelism.
One Thing You Can't do in Heaven
I've read a lot of books about sharing your faith. The author begins by saying, "My intent is not to make you feel guilty because you have not been sharing your faith like you should." However, the author goes on and uses guilt and legalism to motivate a person to share their faith. He does have some practical tips on communicating Christ to the unsaved. I like the approach where he uses the Ten Commandments to help the lost person understand that they're in sin and they need a Savior. I didn't have a problem with him going into a tavern to share Christ, but I don't think it's a good idea for a man to invite a prostitute into his car to share Christ, unless his wife is with him.
There are other books on witnessing that don't produce guilt, but are also effective in motivating a person to share Christ. People may want to check out Rebecca Manley Pippert's book, "Out of the Salt Shaker and Into the World," or Bill Hybels book, "Becoming a Contagious Christ," or Dick Innes book, "I Hate Witnessing." These three are very good reads without the guilt!

Overcome the "God said "Go" but I said "No"" blues
This is an awesome book. Every church should have several copies on hand to give as gifts; that's how I got my copy. I wanted to evangelize but always found a way to get out of it. Mark goes through the excuses we give God for why we don't evangelize and I found myself saying 'that's me' to most of them. Mark challenges all of us to stop making excuses and start making disciples. If you're going to read one book on evangelism this year, read this book.

Best book on Evangelism ever!!
If you have not read this book you need to! It is the most equipping and encouraging book on evangelism that I have ever read. This will get you motivated to live for eternity and not for the things of this world.

Be encouraged to share your faith
This book has many examples of ways to work faith into conversations and encourages such. I did see some comments that came across to me as a tad legalistic, and some of the places and situations he went in to in order to share I have conflicting feelings about. Have already given this book to someone as a gift.
