While there is some value in this book, page 9, "Running on Low," really bugs me. The Scripture referenced is Isaiah 57:10. When I read this prayer, I thought the verse was an encouragement from God to hang in there, and keep going, and find renewal of my strength in Him. But when I read the Scripture in context, I found that God was admonishing His people for committing spiritual adultery, and verse 10 is part of that admonishment - not a commendation or encouragement. It seems to have been taken out of context and totally misapplied in this book.
