Publisher's Description

Not long after Hannah, a college student, experiences increasing anxiety and a sudden collapse, all signs point to the surprising circumstances of her birth. Hannah soon learns from her parents that she was adopted and is the survivor of a failed abortion attempt. Bewildered, angry, and confused, she turns to her oldest friend, Jason, for support. Encouraged by his adventurous spirit, Hannah joins his friends on a road trip, embarking on a journey to discover her hidden past and find hope for the unknown future. Along the way, Hannah finds that every life is beautiful, and that life itself can be so much more than what we might have planned. Based on the popular movie of the same name, October Baby brings to life powerful themes of hope, love, forgiveness, and redemption. Acclaim for the film October Baby: “A great film with a great message!” – Alex Kendrick, director of Courageous, coauthor of The Love Dare “I am now an October Baby activist.” – Mark Hall, lead singer of Casting Crowns “Hannah’s journey to find answers and embrace her identity leads her to hope, acceptance, and love — and leaves us celebrating life.” – Bill Blacquiere, president of Bethany Christian Services

About the Movie

OCTOBER BABY is a coming-of-age story of Hannah, a beautiful 19-year-old college freshman. In spite of her energetic (if somewhat naïve) personality, Hannah has always felt like an outsider. Something is missing. She has always carried a deep-seated sense that she has no right to exist.

When she discovers she was adopted it comes as a shock, but Hannah's world is rocked even more when she learns why she was never told before - because she was the survivor of a failed abortion. Desperate for answers, she embarks on a road trip with some friends (including her oldest and closest friend Jason) to find her biological mother. In the process she unexpectedly discovers hope, love and forgiveness.

This uplifting and beautiful film may change the way you look at the world, your loved ones...and life.
