This movie hits you right in the heart. It is a great story about abortion, forgiveness and love, as this young girl finds out about her birth, and the many lives touched by these events. This movie is highly recommended, and especially if someone is contemplating abortion.
Very powerful, healing in so very many ways_I'd read Gianna's story and wept_ and I've shared it with others...But the movie brought with it so much promise for so many broken lives and powerfully spoke to the deep sorrow that is so very often deeply carried around in the hearts of post-abortive moms... This movie was filled with resounding promises, reverberating through the many places of brokenness in peoples lives, in a manner in which it actually promoted true healing with the gift of going forward in life because of healing words spoken as well. The tender mercy and grace filled promises of The One who has loved each and every one of us with equal healing measure was so very present_ His healing touch was woven all through out this movie, with such amazing sensitivity, that it was powerfully cleansing, renewing and hopeful--with the reminder that not one of us can rewrite our past, though most certainly, all of us "in Christ" would surely like to. "The healing balm of Gilead..." as though Jesus himself is present " with skin on" interceding on behalf of those whose lives are being ministered to as actors, and viewers.
The Special Features were wonderful because of the healing testimonies shared and the various ways that such brokenness was healed, because of our compassionate and loving, Heavenly Father. As were the testimonies that every life is (still) beautiful to Him and should be to those whose lives have been healed by such enormous grace and mercy.
