Although dated, easily adaptable to today's kids
This book has dozens of good object lessons. Although some of them are dated (references to technology, common household items etc.) they give a good springboard for coming up with original object lessons that can be used to get kids' attention. I use these as openers for Children's Church.

This product did not meet my needs.
I expected object lessons on a younger level than what this book offered. They were too involved for the young children I would use this with.

The product is good but specific
The book is well written and the object lessons are solid and creative. However, most of the object lessons have to do with salvation and don't have as much variety as I would have liked.

I have just finished reading this book by Dr. Ryrie. What wonderful illustrations and lessons that were used by Dr. Ryrie with children. I have found them to be applicable to this older kid, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Nicely done!
