Nice, crisp pages. No notes--a plus in my book. This is simply a text edition with the added benefit of the Deuterocanonical books. The Genuine Leather edition is worth the extra money. I previously purchased a genuine leather edition for a friend and was impressed with the softness and durability. I'm now ordering one for myself. By the way, I come from a very conservative Christian denomination and still love this translation. Give it a try if you haven't yet!
