Product Description

Losing someone we love can be the most difficult thing to go through in life. All the explanations and comforting words in the world don't really help and everything can seem hopeless. But what might help us is to know, that in facing this kind of loss, Jesus wept. Matthew is the twelfth DVD of the Nooma ® series - short films appropriate for personal and small group settings, congregational meetings, and much more. Like parables, they use the experiences of our lives to teach about the fullness of life through Jesus, tackling issues like forgiveness, discipleship, and unconditional love. The study materials accompanying each Nooma® encourage meaningful discussion with relevant questions and biblical references.

Editorial Reviews

'For some folks, the two words 'Jesus wept' are an unnecessary intrusion in John's Gospel. But for Rob Bell, these two words open up new ways to understand both the nature of Christ's love for us and the challenge of human suffering....Consider using this moving DVD the next time tragedy touches one of the members of your group.'

I first saw this video back in 2008 or 2007, and could not really relate as nobody close to me died. Then March 31 2009 my mom was struck with cancer and passed on, I watched the video again and it was so true good and pure, right down to the very guts and encence of where I was asking questions with God. It helped me move on and realize God did not leave my side during this time. Kepp being an Instrument of God Rob. Thanks
