Julie GravesOklahomaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5no place to hideAugust 20, 2015Julie GravesOklahomaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This review was written for #3: No Place to Hide.Jackie Sellers and Ian Lockwood are on the run. Ian is being framed as a terrorist and Jackie is his accomplice. When Jackie hears that her old friend is wanted as a terrorist she knows something isn't right. So she goes to his house to find out what is going on. What she doesn't count on are the real terrorists trying to kill she and Ian. Ian is pretty sure that an email he received by mistake at work is what has put him in jeopardy. He doesn't want to put Jackie in danger, but in her line of work with Operation Rescue, rescuing is what she does. After narrowly escaping the terrorists Ian and Jackie and Ian's dog become two of America's most wanted. Afraid to turn themselves in because they don't know who they can trust, Jackie and Ian set out to clear Ian's name and find out exactly what the terrorists have planned. Will it be in time to avert a National disaster?
I love a book that starts out with a lot of action! It usually is a clue that the reader is in for a roller coaster of a ride. NO PLACE TO HIDE did not disappoint. It started out exciting and it kept the pace throughout the entire book. I liked the fact that Ian and Jackie knew each other in the past. The fact that Ian was picked on and Jackie was an abused child and they overcame those things in their lives made them strong adults and perfect for each other. Again, I enjoyed the pace of the book. The suspense of how the bad guys kept finding them, not knowing exactly who the person calling the shots was and trying to stay one step ahead of the FBI(and other agencies), made for a fast-paced and exciting read. If you haven't read any of Lynette Eason's books I highly recommend them, especially if you are a romance/suspense lover like I am.

Readers Corner5 Stars Out Of 5No Place to Hide (Hidden Identity Series Book 3)June 15, 2015Readers CornerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Yet another amazing story penned by Lynette Eason. This entire series has been amazing from the beginning. Jackie and Ian's story is fast paced and intriguing. I have heard this could be the last one of the series. I will definitely miss these characters. Ron's story would definitely make a great prequel one day. No Place to Hide contains several revelations. You will definitely need to fasten your seatbelt for this story.

1. The chapters are short (just a few pages each), so the reading is quick. And the story's easy to follow, despite ...
2. Its twists and turns. Which have kept me turning pages to find out what happens next.
I think Lynette has taken suspense to a whole new level with this one. Her lead characters, Ian Lockwood and Jackie Sellers, are on the run. And, as the title implies, they're running out of places to hide. They've got the FBI on their tails for something they haven't even done. To make matters worse, they also have someone else chasing them down, and they keep catching up faster than the FBI. The big questions are: who is able to track them that well? And why?
One of the questions approached in this Christian novel is the idea that God allows bad things to happen to good people. I really loved how Lynette brought to life the fact that God has given people free will and a conscience to make our own choices. As much as there is good in this world, evil stands its ground too. And sometimes people make bad decisions or have no moral compass guiding what they do. But that doesn't mean that God is allowing it or that He doesn't want us to be blessed with long life and prosperity. I think Lynette states it beautifully on page 198 via a conversation between Jackie and Ian.
Relationally, I love that Jackie and Ian knew each other when they were younger. If you're expecting a lot of romance, you may find yourself disappointed. However, I didn't. Because of the tension of the suspense, I didn't find myself needing a lot of hand holding or brushing up against one another and sparks flying. I think the subtlety of the relationship between Jackie and Ian was well written. And honestly, although I enjoy romance, I would rather have more suspense than romance in my romantic suspense novels. It's always fun to see the hero and heroine come together, but it's so much more exciting to see the criminals be brought to justice and to figure out who the bad guy really is.
If you love suspense, you won't be disappointed. This novel is intense. If I didn't get migraines when I pull all-nighters, I would have stayed up and read it in less than 24 hours. But I'm a slow reader, so it's taken me a little longer than I'd like to get through it. All at my fault. Because Lynette has done a fine job of keeping me entertained and intrigued. I think No Place To Hide is quite possibly her best yet.

Lynette Eason
Book Summary: In the latest novel in her Hidden Identity series, Lynette Eason throws listeners right into the action from the very beginning, propelling them along a dangerous road and asking the provocative question of how far we'd be willing to go if we were up against a wall. It's not every day you see your childhood friend and one-time crush on national news. Jackie Sellers just wishes that it were under different circumstances. She can't believe that Ian Lockwood is wanted in connection with a terrorist plot, and she's determined to find him and help him clear his name. But she's not the only one looking. The FBI wants him captured. The bad guys want him dead. Ian just wants to stay alive long enough to save thousands of innocent lives.
Review: This is one heart pounding book. From the start it has my head spinning and my heart pounding. Is it questionable to try to save and old friend from a treason charge. False charges or real is the question. Jackie was convinced Ian was innocent. Loved seeing how they were hounded and in the midst of all this they have no idea how they were being tracked. Some of the timing seemed off, but the tension and mystery was pulse pounding. Lynette Eason books have taught me to expect anything. I think this book is no exception. I was sitting at the edge of my seat to the end. I will admit that I have put the book down just to take a breath!
I would like to thank Net Galley and Revell for allowing me to read and review this book in return for a free copy and I was never asked to write a favorable review by anyone.
