This is the best for using in a Bible study. Recently we went to our Son's church and I followed with no problem. Our Paster as well as our Son's Paster uses this Bible in their Sermon. My Daughter-in-Law was having trouble following because she had a different version. I had no problem so I bought this Bible for them so they could follow, and use it in their Bible study.

Absolutely the best $25 you'll ever spend! An amazingly accurate translation, easy to read and understand text and study notes, 9 point type, reasonable size and weight! I use the giant print version non-study NLT to preach out of, but do my preparation with this! You just can't go wrong here! I've never seen any other bible get so many 5-star reviews, and for good reason! BTW, I have approximately 40 bibles in my library, but this is the one I find myself in most often! This is an amazing Bible, very well presented with many notes and study helps. Very easy to read and understand, most impressive.

I really like this translation of the Holy Bible. I have always been a KJV preacher, I recently began teaching a youth class and searched for an easier understood version for my teenagers, the NLT is the best I've found so far. The only thing I don't like is the verses do not start on a new line so if you are looking for a verse you have to search through the paragraphs for the number (thus minus 1/2 star).

I did an extensive research on what to get to start my study of the Bible and found these study aid where the best that cou;ld be found. I had help from my brother-in-law who is very knowable in sure areas. This is well worth the money when you have little to spend. I wish I would have gotten this study bible before I started reading Gods word. It has helped me to understand so much more. I would recommend this study bible to beginners,because it is easy to read and easy to understand.

This is a great bible, and I have many, many bibles and use all of them to study. I paid full price when it came out and thought it was a steal....This price is amazing!
