I have to say, I love this bible. For one, the NLT has become my favorite version of the bible out there. It's easy to read and much more modern and practical in the wording and application. Next, the Center Column Reference is great. I especially like that there is Hebrew/Greek word index in the back that explains many of the references with elaborate definitions. Along with the Hebrew/Greek index is a VERY detailed concordance. It is a fantastic concordance, especially considering the size of the bible. The cover is very nice, too. The LeatherLike could have fooled me. I thought it was real. I received mine free through tyndalerewards.com, but I'm planning on buying one for my wife. I would highly recommend this bible.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It has a beautiful brown/tan cover, it says "leatherlike"... but this cover looks and feels better than some genuine leather bibles that I've owned. I love that it is red-letter...(Words of Christ in red). Very handy size to take anywhere... but still has center-column references, and readable print size. Of course the NLT is one of the most readable and easy to understand translations on the market. Highly Recommend!!

I, on the other hand, think the print is quite large for a small (roughly 5"x7") Bible. The font size is small, but easy to read, and much larger than other small Bibles, and it comes with wonderful helps: lots of references and word explainations, the Greek/Hebrew dictionary and an OK concordance. I find this all amazing in such a small Bible that is so much easier to carry than the average-sized Bible. Does it have all the references and study notes of a large Bible, of course not. But it does well for its size. It's easy to hold while reading in bed, and the NLT is wonderfully easy to understand. The only thing I wish Tyndale would correct: capatilize the pronouns that refer to the Lord--it's so much more respectful. If you want an easy to carry or hold Bible that allows you to study the word of God as well as just enjoy reading it, this is a really good one.

This is an excellent Bible translation and well made, but it is not LARGE PRINT. I am guessing that this is a combination of size 7 and size 8 fonts.

When I saw "large print" I was excited that a compact bible had large print--however, it isn't really very large and I still need my glasses to read it! It would be helpful if the description told the "font size".
