NLT Slimline Reference Bible, Large Print Compact TuTone Leatherlike Brown/Tan
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It has a beautiful brown/tan cover, it says "leatherlike"... but this cover looks and feels better than some genuine leather bibles that I've owned. I love that it is red-letter...(Words of Christ in red). Very handy size to take anywhere... but still has center-column references, and readable print size. Of course the NLT is one of the most readable and easy to understand translations on the market. Highly Recommend!!

Excellent Small Print Bible
I, on the other hand, think the print is quite large for a small (roughly 5"x7") Bible. The font size is small, but easy to read, and much larger than other small Bibles, and it comes with wonderful helps: lots of references and word explainations, the Greek/Hebrew dictionary and an OK concordance. I find this all amazing in such a small Bible that is so much easier to carry than the average-sized Bible. Does it have all the references and study notes of a large Bible, of course not. But it does well for its size. It's easy to hold while reading in bed, and the NLT is wonderfully easy to understand. The only thing I wish Tyndale would correct: capatilize the pronouns that refer to the Lord--it's so much more respectful. If you want an easy to carry or hold Bible that allows you to study the word of God as well as just enjoy reading it, this is a really good one.

Not LARGE Print!
This is an excellent Bible translation and well made, but it is not LARGE PRINT. I am guessing that this is a combination of size 7 and size 8 fonts.

When I saw "large print" I was excited that a compact bible had large print--however, it isn't really very large and I still need my glasses to read it! It would be helpful if the description told the "font size".
