have some disapointment
I was disappointed to find that this chronological bible did not have the same order or arrangement as the NIV by the same publisher . We are doing a reading thru the bible in church where i minister and we all use the ordering of the chronology found in the NIV and use the Niv for the most part, just makes it easier. one of our members who has trouble reading asked if it was available in audio. well the NIV was not but the NLT was in mp3, fantastic, except when we got it for him we found that we are not reading on the same page (scripture chapter and verse) We are teaching Wednesday night bible study and Sunday am preaching and am Sunday school all three out of that weeks reading and here is Stan on some other book of the bible. It would have been nice to have been able to find out the ordering and compare before we bought because this has not fixed the problem for him to keep up. Same publisher, Tyndale, who would of thought? i dared to hope but was left disappointed. Such is life i guess. Thanks

Bible reading on the go!
My D group has been reading the Bible and I was having a hard time keeping current. This audio version makes it easy to remain on pace with my D group. Just load it and listen as I drive the many miles per day that I'm in the car. The price was more then reasonable. Thanks so much for providing a good product at an excellent price.

Good audio but missing the Scripture References
I like the quality of the audio. I love the fact that it is in chronological order, one MP3 file for each day of the year, e. g. Jan 6th is "OYCB 01-06.mp3". However, the reader doesn't tell you which passage he is reading. He starts with a heading statement like "The flood covers the earth." But he doesn't say "Genesis 7" even at the beginning of the day's reading. Sometimes, after he has been reading in Genesis and he is about to switch to I Chronicles he'll say "From First Chronicles" but he doesn't tell you chapter or verse. He doesn't always tell you when he has switched back to Genesis, although sometimes he does. I don't know if this is intentional, to make the story flow more (which it does), or not intentional, but it wasn't what I was expecting so I thought I would let people know.

I love the content and organization of these CD's. The container box that they come in is pretty cheesy. It is difficult to get the CD's in and out and if you are not careful in how you place them in the box they will fall out on the floor. The CD's are not labeled by date. You may have to play them to find out where you are in your in-home reading plan. They do give me a nice way to keep current on my reading plan while on the way to work.
