NLT New Believer's New Testament - softcover edition 4.2 5 5 5

Fantastic Bible for new & mature I got a copy of this Bible recently & although I am a literal translation reader & just love this Bible! I study the word hours daily & this Bible with the teaching helps is fantastic for a new believer & even a mature believer to use as a devotional to refresh themselves daily of What God is all about for us. I have most of the major study Bibles, but this will be a fantastic aid to my daily reading plan. The reading tracks are well done. I love the mini articles throught the Bible. Mmy husband is not a reader & he is a new believer & I hope this will help him understand God & build his walk with God better. Some feel the NLT is missing verses and discourage using it. The Holy Spirit led me to the Lord in an NLT. Would I use an NLT for deep study, probably not, but for daily reading most certainly. I would highly reccomend it as a gift to a new believer but also encouraging them to have a literal word for word Bible on hand for clarification. February 24, 2012

This Has Been a Blessing for my Life I love the Bible, the writer has great notes for both new believers and old believers. It is great for building a good foundation. I am glad that I purchased the bible, It has been a blessing since page 1 December 14, 2010

Like all the New believer bible's from Greg laurie. They are great! the NLT is so easy to understand and Gregs foot notes are so helpful. Highly recommended for people who have a hardtime understanding Gods word and need it explained in simple terms so they can apply it to their life. Greg Laurie is great for motivating the lost and young lives (people in their 20's). He's even great for older people too, but he can really target in on lost people with his teaching.
