Last year we bought a number of different DVD & audio Bibles for our family. This one quickly became my all-time favorite! Stephen Johnston's voice is great, the supporting cast adds interest without being distracting, and the music complements the narration without being over-powering. While being read, the corresponding portion of text is shown onscreen page-by-page. (An entirely DIFFERENT section of the DVD has pictures of the Holy Land.) Note: the DVD did not play well in our car -- the bumps along the road caused too much skipping; maybe a better DVD player would not have that problem. I would most likely purchase the audio download by itself if it were available. (I like THIS rendition that much!) Highly recommended.

Not what I expected. I thought this was a dramatization of the Bible. It gets the rating it does because it's probably quite good for what it is...just a dramatized reading of the Bible.

Excellent source for learning the Lord's Word. So much information. Have not gone through the entire DVD's yet, but truly love what I have seen and heard.Great source for new believers to lay a foundation in their growing relationship with Christ.

The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star rating was because I thought it could be downloaded to a PC. However, as a ROM DVD it is an excellent resource. Hearing the word of God is important to my family's strengthening of their faith. My rating choice must be understood in the light of my ignorance of the DVD's capabilities and not on the merit of its qualities and usefulness.
