Great compact Bible in every way
I mostly study from the ESV, but it has some awkward English in certain passages so I bought this for reading to my kids. The NLT also has some passages that are rendered in a way that sounds unfamiliar to me, but I find that it really is a good dynamic translation, quite accurate for the most part, and a pleasure to read. It has become one of my 'go-to' Bibles for reading and devotions. (Make sure you get the NLT 2007 edition - it is a huge improvement on the 1996 edition.)
The NLT Large Print Compact in burgundy bonded leather is very nice and good quality. Compared to other bonded leather bindings it is relatively smooth, firm, and a maroon color. Print is a very readable 9.5+ font, ink density is consistent throughout, and minimal text ghosting through the paper. Great Bible - I love it!

Great personal size with readable print. We bought it for my son, but I'm going to get one of my own.

I am delighted with my NLT Compact Bible. It was just what I hoped it would be! Small to go into my bag. The print is very clear and remarkably large for the size of the bible.Overall I am very pleased and am enjoying it very much

The Bible was a gift for my Mom, and she loved it. The imprinting was beautiful. The "Large Print" was not as large as I thought it would be; however, it is bigger than the typical print for a Bible that size. Perhaps a sampling of the print size would be helpful.
